Services

Editing services are charged by word at $.004/word. Editing services include:

• Grammar
• Punctuation Check
• Capitalization
• Spell Check
• Readability/Phrasing
• Comments on the content or any questions I have about your work

Proofreading ONLY Service: $150 flat rate

How to Get Your Work to Me:

If you choose to have me edit or proofread your work, I prefer to use Google Docs as it is easier for both of us to be in the document at the same time when we collaborate. You can share it with me in Google Docs, so I can either straight edit or use suggesting mode. Straight editing means that I would be making changes as if I were the person who wrote the piece. This means that you would not be able to see my changes unless you choose to compare your original to what you shared with me. Suggesting mode means that I would correct what is needed and you could either accept or deny my changes. Please let me know which one you would like when you contact me.

Collaboration

I can also collaborate with you if you choose, while we are both in the document at the same time, so we discuss any changes that are made. We can do this either through FaceTime or Facebook Messenger video chat. We can work out a time/date to do this when it is convenient for us both.

Legal

I do have an editing service contract that you and I will both agree to. The contract is in line with Oklahoma state law for contracted work. If you choose to employ my services, I will send you the contract for you to read through, sign, and send back to me via text or email. This contract protects both you and me while we are working together and after the service is complete.
